Close to 50% of workers were employed with Main Work (Employment or Earning more than 6 Months) while around 30% were involved in Marginal activity providing livelihood for less than 6 months. Of the workers engaged in Main Work, 40% were cultivators (owner or coowner) while others were Agricultural labourer. People of Bajaura advocate a simple standard of living and do not have any high aspirations. Almost every person we spoke to was in love with their village and did not want to move out and settle anywhere in the city. However they did express an interest to have better transport facilities to the nearest cities. Most of the people there were very proud of their village and the way the government has brought changes for the good for them.enRural development & problemsstudy by studentsRural Research Project: Bajaura
