The upper caste families led a close-to-urban lifestyle. The richest land-holding farmers, called Shreeman Khedut (holding more than 3.45 bighas of land), had well-furnished homes. There were around 10-15 such rich farmers in Dhanori. The other upper-caste land-owners possessed lesser lands but still had an almost similar lifestyle. Most of these homes contained television sets with set-top boxes, refrigerators (single-door), DVD players, water purifiers etc. Almost every family member owned a mobile phone. The head of the family and the sons possessed smart phones while the woman of the house had bar phones only. Some of these families also owned cars.enRural development & problemsstudy by students
