2025-08-222025-08-222025-08-22https://ir.mica.ac.in//handle/123456789/10266Rigorous academic work often leads to severe burnout for educators and research scholars, creating a need to introspect. Acknowledging this, MICA Ahmedabad has set up a platform for them to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their purpose, ethics, and inner space. With a focus on scholar’s well-being, MICA has introduced the Service Ashram, a reflective gathering inspired by the traditional Indian ashram model, rooted in contemplation, ethical introspection, and spiritual alignment. Officials at MICA said that the Service Ashram reimagines this ancient concept within a modern academic context. It is a voluntary, non-commercial, and inclusive initiative, unlike a typical conference or workshop. The carefully designed concept features sessions beyond formal instruction, encouraging open conversations on themes such as compassion, service, happiness, hope, and self-reflection.enService Ashram PlatformMICA Launchesmodern academic contextMICA's Service Ashram to combat scholar burnout
