It then realized the need to have an organization to market the products produced by these small producers in order to ensure their livelihood security. This resulted in to genesis of marketing facilitation arm of SEWA, i.e. SEWA Gram Mahila Haat (SGMH). It came into existence in 1998 with an aim to facilitate the direct market linkage to small producers.
