It comprises 20-25 households with a total population of 200-250 persons. Due to its compact size and less population, Census of India recognizes it as a part of a larger village, Bhatala. Bhatala has 99 households consisting of a total of 468 persons including 241 men, 227 women and 56 children (0-6 years).1 The village has compact settlements with a linear pattern. Thus some households are located on hill top while some households are located in the valley below.
