It is located 45 km towards the south from the Mehsana district Headquarters. Rangpurda’s pin code is 382715 and its postal head office is in Kadi. Nani Kadi (2 KM), Dhoriya (3 KM), Borisana (3 KM), Sujatpura (4 KM) and Narsihpura (4KM) are the nearby Villages to Rangpurda. Rangpurda is surrounded by Kalol Taluka towards East , Detroj Rampura Taluka towards west , Sanand Taluka towards South, Gandhinagar Taluka towards East . The village is in the border of the Mahesana District and Gandhinagar District. T he easiest way to reach Rangpurda is by rail. Kadi & Anokhi Railway Stations are the closest to the village. Ahmedabad Junction is a major railway station situated 41 KM away from Rangpurda. Mostly, the settlers who don’t belong to the Patel community in the village are employed in the mills. They live in the outskirts of the village, around the factories. The majority of the makes populace works in Kadi. They work as mechanics, shopkeepers and traders of cotton in the city. We were told that the current generation tends to leave the village in pursuit of higher education, jobs or a better lifestyle.
