The famous branches of teak wood teers are used to make furniture and storage tanks. Custard apple, grown in the village is consumed for personal use and also sold in nearby villages to make small profits. Brands like Reliance have now started to purchase custard apples from local farmers at 3-4 rupees which are then sold in cities at the rate of 50/60 rupees. The Forest dept has collaborated with these local farmers to create pulp, which is then sold to Wadilal and Reliance for 70/90 rupees. Now over 5-6 lakh worth of custard apples are sold monthly per village which generates an income of 5-6 k per month per family. 30% of Families migrate to Rajkot and nearby bigger villages with families for labor affecting the overall quality of education of their children. .
