    Rural Immersion project : Developing Strategies for boosting sales through online platform for VRDI's product line

    Shri Vivekanand Gramodyog Society (V.G.S) was established in 1988 as a registered society. Vivekananda Rural Development Institute was established as a part of Vivekanand Gramodyog Society (V.G.S). VRDI primarily focused on encouraging Kutch artwork, empowering rural women, providing training, helping in self-production, market support, and conducted awareness programmes to help the people of Kutch area to overcome the natural calamities. Mission : Optimize the use of local resources for socio-economic development and triple the economic activities of the Kutch region within next 10 years. VRDI played a very important role in transforming the lives of rural women belonging to the Kutch area. Through skill training and providing job opportunities to the women,VRDI helped many families to consistently improve their economic situations. Preserving the authenticity of Kutch handicrafts as well as making it a source of livelihood and sustainable income for the women was a remarkable achievement by VRDI.
