    Nainital is the closest city to Bajoon and by road, which is 11 kms away and would take 20 minutes to reach the last point on road towards the village. Once that location is reached, there is a good 15 minutes walk to reach the village area. The village has different approach areas. The only semi-motor able road that goes up to the other end of the village also takes 15 minutes by road. The bus/shared taxi stop is located at this point where the main road to Nainital touches the approach point to Bajoon. The main occupation of the villagers is farming, taxi driving and shop-keeping. There are other occupations which are used for minor or supporting incomes such as tailoring, government job support in village, part time jobs, factory work etc. The average household income of the village is 8,000-10,000 whereas, the maximum income has shot up 35,000 as well
