Under the THR program, AWC provides raw ration to beneficiaries of different age groups and also to severely underweight children. At present, the implementation of THR program in Gujarat is carried out in a phased manner. As the fortified Take Home Ration (THR) was not universal in Gujarat till December 2019, and was largely limited to the districts that have been included in the THR initiatives are Rural Morbi, Devbhumi, Dwarka, Gir Somnath, Jamnagar and Jamnagar Corporation. The main objective of THR initiatives by UNICEF :-To understand the impact of Ready to Eat ration on beneficiaries. The objective of this research is to map out the insights from the consumers of THR so that they can be leveraged to increase the likeliness of the THR among the TG. The research will focus on understanding the behavioral and attitudinal aspects by identifying the beliefs, attitude and motivation of the TG. This will be achieved by understanding their daily activities and then indulging into deeper conversations to achieve the objective. The insights achieved will help UNICEF to decide on which area they should focus immediately and which can be done in the future. These areas can be from communication, product development or distribution aspects.Item Shreyas foundation: Vocational training & life skills for destitute children(MICA, 2018) Rajpurohit, Kuldeep; Fatehpuria, Mallika; Khan, Mohammad Salman; Darbar, ZubinAs the name suggests, Urban Impact Project, it was important to have a project where we made an impact on stakeholders in an ecosystem that was part of the urban jungle. Shreyas Foundation is a very notable organization that works towards fostering destitute children, nurturing them towards a healthy lifestyle and preparing them to step out in the real world. Keeping the above in mind and the close connection that MICA has with Shreyas Foundation, it presented us with a great opportunity to work with the children and make an impact that goes beyond numbers, reach and impression. Keeping in mind the long-term impact that the project holds, it becomes extremely relevant and important to work in sync with the client and achieve the best possible results. Vocational training & Life skills for destitute children is the problem statement presented to the team for which our client is Shreyas Foundation. The problem has been identified through both primary and secondary data. We looked at global issues and organizations working towards the same cause and tried to have a better understanding of the project. Besides that, the meeting with the client also provided helpful insights into the problem areas and scope of the project.
