Additionally, copper bell making is an interesting activity in which the Luhars at Kunariya are engaged in. At Dhori, farming, animal husbandry, cattle rearing, producer’s milk company and transportation business services are the primary occupation of people. Kutch embroidery work(Bharat Kaam) is done by women of the village. Drip irrigation is done on an individual level by all farmers due to low water levels. On average each farmer owns anywhere from 3-25 livestock. There is no financial institution or a bank present. Residents of the village deposit their savings in the post office. There are microfinance institutions which help people withdraw up to INR 10,000.
