    Mental Health Awareness Project Blind People Association, Ahmedabad

    The Blind People's Association (India) is one of India's largest non-governmental organizations, working for the entire continuum of services to people with disabilities (PwDs). It is a multicampus organization with 15 campuses spread throughout Gujarat and one in Rajasthan. In addition to the above, it has 13 Vision Centres and 10 Day Care Centres for People with Multiple Disabilities and Deafblindness. Consistent with the philosophy, it works to provide education, employment opportunities, equal rights, and quality of life for people with disabilities. Since 1954, BPA has continuously strived to provide employment opportunities to these people. During the last five years, it has successfully employed as many as 1500+ cured patients presently employed in public & private settings like banks, railways, hospitals, and restaurants.
