(MICA, 2021) Nair, Akhil; Sachdave, Angad; Sreeram,K. V.; Jain, Ritik; Sanyal, Sritama; Chandra, Sreedatri
Our objective was to chronicle the lives of children who used to migrate for work (migrant child labor) and the impact of Covid/Lockdown find out how COVID Lockdown has impacted the lives and thoughts of migrant child labour. Research Methodology We relied heavily on primary research for this research. While secondary research helped us draw the mental baseline of reference to understand the plight of our respondents and their lives better. We tried to understand the problems of these children, and while we had a pre-decided list of questions to ask our respondents, we had to adopt a more dynamic approach to incorporate many real-time issues. We also used secondary research to understand the work done by CRY till date as we would be talking to the respondents as volunteers from the organisation.
