Rural Immersion project : Grassroots innovation augmentation network - GIAN
(MICA, 2021) Agarwal, Kriti; Kachhara, Maitri; Shenoy, Sneha; Bodani, Tanya; Anand, Lavnish; Sara, Suyash
The project objective was to interview award winners from GIAN’s initiative Global Innovation Competition called as HBN (Honey Bee Network) Creativity & Inclusive Innovation Award. Interview them about how they got to know about the organisation and their experience with Honey Bee Network and analyse how it overall helped them in their business. The winners are all people from different parts of the world who have started their entrepreneurial stint through innovation and are contributing to society in different ways. Post-analysis of this we were supposed to draft an effective campaign strategy based on the insights gathered through the primary and secondary research. GIAN helps to build the value chain around these innovations, making these available to the masses through the market mechanism or otherwise. The goal is to increase awareness about the platform so as to help reach out to a larger section of the society and provide solutions which are either not available or not affordable by a large section of the consumer masses in developing countries like India.
