    Rural Research Projcet: Jaipur Rugs
(MICA, 2018) Jain, Aditi; Bhatia, Harshit; Sharan, Kriti
Rugs works with a network of 40,000 weavers in 6 states of India and takes responsibility to bind them all with a common thread of love and compassion. Artisans are not only provided sustainable livelihoods but also opportunities for personal growth and development. Various projects and programs are organized frequently to ensure societal impact through this change. As part of the Jaipur family, customers visit production villages to meet artisans in an effort to bring dignity back to the artisans and create a link between the grassroots and global home owners. Jaipur Rugs plans to establish itself as the top recalled brand in its domain. For this, apart from traditional approach, the company wants to take unique ways to establish this connect with its target group and its consumers. Our project was to give ideas for installations and pop-ups for guerilla marketing for visual merchandising. The main agenda of this project was to showcase Jaipur Rugs in an experiential way to its target consumers, that involves less monetary expenses and is more effective in establishing and enhancing the brand awareness of Jaipur Rugs.
