The “Kamala Food Processing and Training Centre” is based on the concept of making available the traditional home cooked healthy Gujarati food as an alternative to the restaurant and junk food. It is a moderately priced food outlet and currently has a seating capacity of 75 offering family style food and service. The menu comprises of authentic Gujarati Thali, varieties of snacks and tea. The revenue generation model was based on providing lunch and dinner services along with varieties of snacks. There were also occasional catering events, festive snacks sale and structured trainings to women and children to impart skills and sensitise about the environment and farm fresh grains and vegetables. We formulated a digital marketing plan and developed the positioning statement for the food Centre. For future growth and increasing sales we have analysed the market segmentation, positioning and target market focus through promotion and advertising modes. A plot development plan along with a training and development approach has been incorporated to enable the understanding of opportunity and future growth sustenance.
