Item Rural Immersion project: Study Rural roots and Knowledge Richness of Economically Weak Migrants(MICA, 2020) Chaturvedi, Krishanu; Joshi, Mukund; Sharma, Pulkit; Mehra, Rahat; Pahal, RahulCommercial use of either of the above stated products can be beneficial for GIAN in multiple ways. First, GIAN can set up their own Organic, Made-in-India brand to sell homegrown cures/solutions to modern day problems. Second, commercial manufacturing of these products (even on a small scale), will eventually create employment opportunities for similar migrant workers who are on the lookout for jobs. Third, this will create a goodwill for the organization and promote them as promoters of Make-in-India. Understanding that not all findings are product based, the Services aspect can also be utilized in a similar fashion to impart free education/training/learning opportunities for all. Using either of the above will have substantial marketing implications for the organization. Even though the people covered under this study might not all be open to sharing their knowledge, the ones who are able to share their knowledge might well be useful for the organization.
