The primary occupation at Kunariya is farming and cattle rearing. Additionally, copper bell making is an interesting activity in which the Luhars at Kunariya are engaged in. At Dhori, farming, animal husbandry, cattle rearing, producer’s milk company and transportation business services are the primary occupation of people. Kutch embroidery work(Bharat Kaam) is done by women of the village. Drip irrigation is done on an individual level by all farmers due to low water levels. On average each farmer owns anywhere from 3-25 livestock. There is no financial institution or a bank present. Residents of the village deposit their savings in the post office. There are microfinance institutions which help people withdraw up to INR 10,000. We did most of our transactions at kirana stores through mobile based UPI mode.

Shivalik Builders wanted to set up a real estate institute with a course consisting of various Real Estate domains. The first step was to define the course. As the vision of the course was to train individuals to become future leaders/entrepreneurs, Shivalik wanted to deliver a combination of all the different domains of real estate. The course's target audience was people interested in taking this career path, so the course price was set high. We also did lots of primary and secondary research and came up with subjects such as marketing, communications, sales, etc. It was also decided that it would be a small batch of 20 to give the utmost attention to the students.
