This project aims to boost agricultural productivity and economic resilience in Kuiyani village, Jharkhand, by transitioning farmers to solar-powered irrigation and storage solutions. IWMI brings expertise in water resource management and sustainable energy, making solar a viable and environmentally friendly alternative to diesel pumps, which have traditionally powered irrigation but come with high costs and environmental downsides. The communication strategy for SE4RL focuses on three main pillars: highlighting economic benefits, showcasing social empowerment, and promoting environmental sustainability.
