Abstract
Instead, it unfolded in moments, a placement update that spoke volumes, an idea that travelled from campus to a national stage, and a cohort preparing to step out of classrooms and into the realities of rural India.
The month opened with the release of Summer Placement Highlights 2025-26, capturing the steady momentum MICAns have built through the year. Students secured opportunities across FMCG, Media, OTT and Sports, BFSI, Fintech, Consulting, and Technology, reflecting both breadth of exposure and depth of capability. The highest stipend reached 75.76 lakh, while the average stood at 72.08 lakh, underscoring strong industry confidence in MICA's talent. More than numbers, the season reflected something deeper, a pedagogy rooted in practice, an alumni network that opens doors, and a curriculum that trains students to think critically before they act creatively.
December also brought national spotlight to the campus. Neel Goplani, a PGP-1 student, emerged as one of the Top 10 winners of the Tata Imagination Challenge 2025, among the most competitive idea-innovation platforms in the country, hosted annually by the Tata Group. Known for pushing participants beyond surface-level creativity, the challenge demands clarity of thought, strong research, and execution discipline. Reflecting on his journey, Neel described the experience as intense and transformative, crediting MICA for helping him refine his research approach, strengthen financial structuring skills, and build confidence as a thinker and creator. His win stood as a reminder that imagination, when shaped by rigor, can travel far.
