dc.description.abstractRasananda Panda, a professor of economics and management at MICA, Ahmedabad, says such tours increase the GDP of the country in the short to medium term, by increasing individual spending. "The demand for concerts is the result of increasing aspiration.of people in the country, backed by discretionary purchasing power — especially that of Gen Z. It is also a sign of a growing state or country’s soft power," he adds.
