Abstract
With more women climbing corporate and academic ladders, seeing women at the helm of institutions is becoming increasingly common. However, MICA, Ahmedabad’s premier communications institute, is setting higher standards with women deservingly holding the majority of leadership roles - from chairperson to program heads, creating a formidable female-led powerhouse.
A strong female hierarchy
Leading the charge is Tina Ambani as Chairperson of the MICA Foundation for Communications Research and Education, while Jaya Deshmukh heads academics as Director and CEO. Prof Githa Heggde serves as Dean and Prof Shubhra Gaur as registrar.
