Abstract

Deshmukh's appointment to the top post reinforcĀ­es MICA'S image as a women-led premier institute, a distinlished and probably a rare feat. While MICA is Jed by woman chairperson of MICA Governing Council Tina Anil Ambani, the dean professor's post is also held by Githa Heggde. MICA's Registrar Professor is Shubhra Gair and now MICA has got its new director in Jaya Deshmukh, highlighted Prof Tridip Suhrud, the President of MICA Governing Council.
