Abstract
The Ministry of Education has announced the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) India Rankings 2025, showcasing the country’s leading higher education institutions across multiple categories. At the official release, Union Minister of Education Mr Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted the credibility of the NIRF system and its close alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Minister of State for Education and Development of North Eastern Region, Dr Sukanta Majumdar, further noted that more than 14,000 institutions from across the country participated this year. Mudra Institute of Communications Ahmedabad (MICA), popularly known as the School of Ideas, secured the 33rd rank in NIRF 2025 with an overall score of 59.22. It excelled in Graduation Outcomes (84.20) and Teaching, Learning and Resources (73.21).
