dc.description.abstractThe objective of this study is to understand the customs, practices, and living habits of the community living in Shela village. In this study, also examined are behaviors of how people interact with brands and people’s understanding and interpretation of their experiences. The findings of this study will then be used to structure communications and build brand strategies or better them for FMCG and media companies. The study includes a general understanding of what the village comprises of, how it functions and the socio-economic factor that govern it. Shela is a village located in Ahmedabad district in Gujarat and is one among the 69 villages of Dhandhuka Block of Ahmedabad district. The village has an approximate 256 houses in its vicinity with a population of approximately 5000 persons with a large part of the population comprising of men as compared to women. It has a total of 2500 families approximately with an average of 2-3 children per household.
