Rural Immersion Project – Area: Meghpura, District: Sikar, State: Rajasthan
The rural immersion is also a way in which MICA collaborates with several NGOs to bring about a positive change in the lives of their countrymen. Students from the college try and give fresh ideas to the organizations that facilitate the rural immersion process by organizing the stay and providing the students with a project with well-defined objectives. Hence it becomes a two way process where students get to learn the nuances of the rural living and at the same time contribute in making their lives a little better. As per the conversation with Jaipur Rugs’ creative and marketing teams, they had tried making videos in many ways but they had failed to engage the audience so far. They wanted us to help them resolve this issue.
