Abstract
Discussing digital sovereignty, Nikhil Pahwa throws light on the control of the internet in a microscopic and macroscopic world. He states instances to exhibit how centralization affects countries and leads to vulcanization of the internet. In contemporary times where countries are using cyber weapons against each other, it becomes imperative to find the root cause of the current lack of trust that breaks the internet. He points out the absence of adequate listening skills and trust deficit between citizens, state, and companies as the main issues. In order to fight for a global internet, we must start by building the internet of trust.
