Abstract
The strategy behind GVT’s approach to rural development and livelihood improvement is to promote skill development and income generating activities, encourage social entrepreneurship, improve farm productivity and add value to farm and non-farm based activities, provide market linkages for rural output (produce, goods or services), build capacity for sustainable and healthy use of natural resources, agricultural related inputs and watershed management, and reduce risk and vulnerabilities relating to nutrition, health and shelter.
