Abstract
Jaipur Rugs Foundation is functional in 5 states across India with active programmes in 600 villages.
JRF is currently aiming to expand its reach to almost all the states in the country. Though the current programs in Gujarat, Rajasthan, UP, Bihar, Jharkhand are doing well, the standardisation is becoming an issue as well as the marketing part of it. It is difficult to get partners on board for more resource heavy projects. The brand awareness of the foundation is also an issue while expanding as the people they are reaching out to are not aware of the organization which brings in the issue of credibility.
Issues arising out of lack of marketing and branding activity:
1. Low response to programs in new states
Turnout is usually low when they conduct programs in any new state because of limited visibility of the brand in the concerned state which hampers the credibility of the programmes and eventually the turnout.
