Rural Immersion Project – Village : Bari Aam, District: Hoshangabad, State: Madhya Pradesh
Bari Aam is a quaint little village that comes under Pagara Panchayat in Pipariya Taluk of Hoshangabad District, Madhya Pradesh State. The village is just a small road with houses on either sides of an elevated roadway that leads into the forest. The land is dominantly forest cover. The nearest farming activity that happens in the area is 12kms away down the hill on flatlands. There is also very sparse common area that can be utilized in Bari Aam. The life currently led by the villagers is very smooth, free of any kind of hustle. A life, which is simple to life but difficult to survive with the kind of resources one has. The tasks and duties for an individual are defined, who gives his best in fulfilling them. The clear bifurcation helps in doing justice to the job defined for each. Hence, an individual gets ample amount of time to rest. These villagers stay far away from any kind of QWE which we individuals live in urban India.
