dc.description.abstractMaherpura is small village located in Himatnagar Taluka of Sabarkantha district, Gujarat with total 113 families residing. The Maherpura village has population of 648 of which 328 are males while 320 are females as per Population Census 2011. In Maherpura village, the population of children with age 0-6 years is 82 which make it up to 12.65 % of total population of village. The average Sex Ratio of Maherpura village is 976 which is higher than Gujarat state average of 919. Child Sex Ratio for the Maherpura as per census is 1000, higher than Gujarat average of 890. Maherpura village has higher literacy rate compared to Gujarat. In 2011, literacy rate of Maherpura village was 89.05 % compared to 78.03 % of Gujarat. In Maherpura Male literacy stands at 91.99 % while female literacy rate was 86.02 %.
