Abstract

The primary objective of this study was to conduct a thorough and holistic impact assessment of the biogas plants established under the GOBARDhan Project within households located in Sherimal, Barumal, and Kangvi villages. The focus was on evaluating the project's multifaceted effects, including socio-economic benefits, operational challenges, user perceptions concerning different types of biogas plant structures, and the need for organized slurry trading mechanisms. By meticulously examining these aspects, the study aimed to provide comprehensive insights into the project's outcomes, challenges faced, and potential areas for enhancement.
