Abstract
How often do we contemplate the concept of attention, how costly sometimes it proves and how imperative it is too choose what you give your attention to? In this incredibly clamoured world that vies for attention, this talk urges you to pause and give the concept the thought it deserves. The voice behind the super hit show “Morning No. 1 with Malishka” is a multi-talented personality who has channelled her popularity with the masses to successfully support many social causes and make ground breaking impact. She goes beyond ruling the air-waves, foraying into the web, film and television, hosting a TV show on Colors and training actress Vidya Balan for "Lage Raho Munnabhai" along with starring with her in a recent movie. Recently, she inspired many and made global headlines with her popular song on social media about the potholes in Mumbai - thus emerging as a relentless entertainer, who is fearless to express what she believes in This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
