dc.description.abstractLungthar is a village in the Senapati district of Manipur. Senapati is one of the nine districts in Manipur state. Before delving into the details of Lunghtar, we shall talk about the Senapati district. Senapati is a district in Manipur with the total area of 3,271 km2 (1,263 sq mi) with a population of 193,7441 with a density of 820/km2. It is bounded on the east by Ukhrul District, on the west by Tamenglong District, on the north by Phek District of Nagaland and on the south by Imphal East District and Imphal West District. This is the nearest point for all the major activities for Lunghtar like hospital, college, telephone exchange, district court Khangabok, Sports Complex, LIC and BSNL offices.
