Abstract
As a part of our project with Jaipur Rugs, we analysed their work, values and ethics. We tried to get an understanding of how they function and what could be the best social media mix for them during this pandemic. We started off by sourcing a bunch of video clips and images from the team and made a mock-up video of how we could promote digital tourism and how we can leverage the emotional value associated with the rugs and the villagers that make them. We even put together a storyboard for a Digital Tour with multiple packages that customers can avail for their virtual vacation in Manpura, Jaipur. We then did a competitor analysis and tried to measure the scope of Jaipur Rugs’ social media plan. The goal was to target HNIs in metropolitan cities hence we came up with a bunch of campaign ideas which would help Jaipur Rugs target them. Our aim throughout this project was to promote the goodness and culture of Manpura and Jaipur Rugs and we hope we managed to do that.
