Gujarat Forest Department is entrusted with the prime responsibility of protection, conservation and development of forest and wildlife of the state. We visited the popular local spots and talked with the local vendors, farmers, officials, foresters and villagers about the pros and cons of the place. We did extensive interviews. Observation and Ethnographic immersive study was the most adopted research technique. We believe that strategy and promotions come from understanding the place and people and therefore, we adopted their ways of living during the immersion period by following their semantics and timings. For MFP, we spoke to the JFMCs, officials and the producers in order to understand the loopholes and betterment opportunities in the existing system.
