Abstract
“All the world’s a stage” and life keeps testing one’s mettle with trials and tribulations (read: auditions), just like in the industry. Celebrated actor Amrita Puri talks about how one needs to write one’s own script no matter what plot-twist the Director called Life has to offer. While society will always try to put everyone into neat little boxes with labels on them, one must always remember to break the box and stand out, to unleash the next page of their lives. Amrita maintains that with courage, one can use the momentum of the biggest waves of change in their stride – in her case OTT platforms.
A widely celebrated stalwart in the world of entertainment, Amrita Puri started her career with the romantic comedy film Aisha, which earned Puri Filmfare nominations for Best Female Debut and Best Supporting Actress. Since then, she has gained critical and commercial acclaim for movies and shows like Kai Po Che!, Made In Heaven, Four More Shots Please! among others. Her versatility shines through the plethora of genres that Amrita Puri has worked in. Her other notable works include Stories of Rabindranath Tagore, P.O.W: Bandhi Yudhh Ke, Blood Money and Judgementall Hai Kya.
