dc.description.abstract	Charaniya village is located in the jetpur taluka of Rajkot district in the state of Gujarat.the surrounding villages nearby charaniya are :Samathiyara ( 4kms) , Kijadiya (3 kms), Vadiya (3 kms), of which Vadiya is more prominent. The village people often go to Wadiya if they require something specific in utilities. People are majorly dependent upon agriculture for their survival. Apart from that there three dairies in the village all three of them being government dairies. Many people are however moving to other employment opportunities such as diamond trading and leaving agriculture as their only source of income. The surprising thing is that the lifestyles of the people of this village and their working styles demonstrates a fascinating balance of work and life similar to the one you will find in any metropolitan city.
