I wanted to keep cinema alive, not just make another film.” Acclaimed director Rima Das recalls her eclectic mix of experiences as an independent film director, and shares how a girl from a humble Assamese village went on to win the National Film Award. While chronicling her personal journey, she also talks about regional cinema turning the next page, and capturing audiences without compromising on its creative integrity.

It was screened at over 80 film festivals around the world, bagging 50+ awards including the National Film awards in 2018.
