Abstract
In today's world wherein there is a debate that whether or not the social sector is turning out to be the next hot spot to work in, Mr Subramanian talks about how this sector is much more than just another working opportunity platform. He focuses on the importance and the impact of sharing stories, how it drives the inspiration to do the complex work out in this industry. He further is trying to tell that what motivates the millennials of today and how social sector is fitting into their definition of “My dream Organization". Being an integral part of Teach For India (TFI), Shyaam believes in the power of collective action and movements as agents for social change.
He currently leads program design, research, strategy and learning at TFI. He has been closely involved with the heads of fellowship recruitment, selection, training, and alumni impact teams in the organization This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
