dc.description.abstractThe study, Indian Kids Online: negotiating the global and the digital flows, which explores online access to information/ data/social media, user experiences, and the impact of online risks and opportunities on children’s wellbeing was conducted for the first time in India in the framework of a partnership formed by Global Kids Online, and CDMCÐMICA, Ahmedabad, India. This research study is part of an international project that seeks to gather rigorous and comparable evidence on children’s use of the Internet and inform them of the dangers and opportunities children face online. Global Kids Online is a collaborative initiative of the UNICEF Innocenti Research Center, the London School of Economics, and the EU Kids Online Network. Over 40 countries have now implemented this research project in Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
