Deepak Foundation first began in 1982, as a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of Deepak Nitrite Limited, with a vision to provide healthcare facilities to the families of workers and local communities residing in the industrial area of Nandesari, by Shri C.K. Mehta. Over the years Deepak Foundation has expanded its operations to cover not only healthcare facilities but also embarked on various projects to empower women, provide supplementary education and build capacities of varied less privileged remote communities. Deepak Foundation is today a leading non-profit with its reach expanded to 35 districts in 8 states across India.
