dc.description.abstract	The team would like to acknowledge the help of Prof. Arbind Sinha, faculty, MICA for his help and guidance. His words from class room and his advice have been the shining beacon for the team during the stay in the village of Ganga Bhogpur. He has left us in no doubt with regard to the importance of ethnography. The guide he provided us was also very helpful during the research. We are deeply indebted to Mr. Sohan Singh Bhandari, the council representative from the village of Ganga Bhogpur. He took out much of his time and went out of his way to provide us all the information we needed on the village. His hospitality and efforts to introduce us to the village folk went a long way in making us feel at ease and go about our work better. Thanks also to Mr. Ganesh, owner of grocery store who took much effort to guide us along the village.
