Program Learnings: Product trials is easier to achieve as women have been facing physical discomfort and other issues with the products that they have been using traditionally. There is uneasiness around product that require to be inserted inside the body. The program is giving choice to the women and not instructing them to use a particular product but rather helping them in maintain hygiene. Focus on eco-friendliness of the products is commendable. Women can be convinced and inspired to modify their behaviour at individual level, when it comes to beliefs like: “Not touching Tulsi/neem ka ped”, “Not touching achaar or it will be spoilt.” Change at the community level is difficult to achieve because of the religious issues and the reputation and traditions of the community.
