dc.description.abstractDhanota is a large village located in Shahpura of Jaipur district, Rajasthan with total 901 families residing. The Dhanota village has population of 5827 of which 3082 are males while 2745 are females as per Population Census 2011. In Dhanota village population of children with age 0-6 is 826 which makes up 14.18 % of total population of village. Average Sex Ratio of Dhanota village is 891 which is lower than Rajasthan state average of 928. Child Sex Ratio for the Dhanota as per census is 754, lower than Rajasthan average of 888. Dhanota village has higher literacy rate compared to Rajasthan. In 2011, literacy rate of Dhanota village was 75.06 % compared to 66.11 % of Rajasthan. In Dhanota Male literacy stands at 87.48 % while female literacy rate was 61.51 %. As per constitution of India and Panchyati Raaj Act, Dhanota village is administrated by Sarpanch (Head of Village) who is elected representative of village.
