Rural Immersion Report- village around- Bodeli, Gujarat, Client: Sewa Foundation
We conducted our study in and around Bodeli, a city located 70 kilometres from Baroda. As part of our impact assessment study, we visited three villages in the interior of Bodeli, namely Panej, Timbi, and Raj Bodeli. To better understand the changes that have taken place during the period of association with SEWA, we interviewed and interacted with benefactors of the various schemes run by SEWA. We spoke to 15 individual respondents and conducted two focussed group discussions with 9-12 individuals to generate quality insights summarised in this report, along with our recommendations based on those insights. Respondents were associated with SEWA for a period ranging from seven months to twelve years and were shared by the organisation.
