Abstract

About Adani Foundation: Established in 1996, Adani Foundations is a social development wing of Adani. Making a modest beginning with a few rural communities around the port at Mundra, Gujarat, the Foundation has expanded its operations over the past decade in 12 States, 21 Sites, 1,470 villages & towns across the nation with a team of 250 committed professionals who are relentlessly working with an approach that embodies innovation, people participation and collaboration with the key stakeholders. Touching more than 4,00,000 plus families & passionately acting on four core areas - Education; Community Health, Sustainable Livelihood Development and Rural Infrastructure Development, Adani Foundation not only acts towards inclusive growth and sustainable development of the communities where Adani Group works, but also contributes towards nation building. SuPoshan Project was first Begun in Mundra, and from there the Foundation has spread its reach in various other locations in the country to spread awareness regarding healthy eating habits and development of malnourished kids. The fight against Malnourishment was one of the challenges people near ports fight due to Poverty and Busy work Schedule.
