Abstract
Under project Saksham, an initiative of the Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC), the foundation conducts skill-based training programmes for the youth of India, thereby increasing their skill sets and employability. ASDC operates 9
fully-owned centres across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Jharkhand as well as 16 centres in Madhya Pradesh, Kerala and Odisha in nfra-partnership mode. ASDC is the first skill imparting institute in the country to
offer courses like Simulator-based Crane Operation, 3D printing and Welding through Augmented Reality. Up till now, more than 3,800 candidates have been trained with a placement ratio of over 70%.
