Abstract
Many students are now unable to attend school and college and their parents’ income has taken a hit. These children are unsure about their future now because of the same situation. CRY Foundation to understand the extent of these problems in the lives of these children and these ‘Lockdown Stories’ was the objective of the project.
CRY Foundation, who are working with thousands of children and adolescents in the country, wanted to understand the extent of challenges these kids faced and continued to face in the advent of the strict lockdown conditions. The objective was to speak to a number of adolescents across the country over a phone call and try to understand their problems and challenges brought about by the lockdown restrictions,
how they were coping up with the hardships, how were they managing their education and how their parents were coping up with the loss of job opportunity.
