At the outset, I would like to congratulate each of you as you graduate from MICA and set out to conquer the world. It has been a unique experience for you with one year spent in the shadow of the pandemic and learning online and the other year spent on campus in the classrooms. Both years had their challenges and it is gratifying that you were able to navigate through your tenure at MICA and emerge stronger, secure and successful. I must add here that your display of maturity in handling the situation and adhering to self-governance and strict protocols during your first year was exemplary. These are the hallmarks of being not just good students but also responsible citizens. This is what sets MICAns apart from the rest, and I am sure this experience will stand you in good stead as you enter the corporate world.
